I am as perplexed as you are about HD (Nardelli and the Board). As an HD shareholder -- who bought in the Fall of 2003 at $35 -- I'm trying to determine whether to stay-in or sell. What are others thinking?

Home Depot has very poor customer service also. Home Depot has now installed three GAF roofs on my house in eight months and did over $1,000.00 in damages. They have offered me $352.87 for all of my troubles. You can see my web site at www.freewebs.com/myroof

I was a great fan of Home Depot for many years, but....in the last two years the service has deteriorated extremely to the point I will no longer shop there. This includes misquotes on patio door installations to no one being available for in store assistance despite several overhead pages from customer service and customer service then saying, I guess there is no one available.
