So the news broke today that Live Gamer has acquired Two Fish to create the leading virtual goods platform on the Internet. Ed, Lee and I founded TwoFish a few years ago to drive online gaming and virtual items into the US mainstream, and this is a significant step forward.
The combination is a powerful one, bringing together the gaming focus and global footprint of Live Gamer with the social focus and technology of Two Fish. I've come to know Live Gamer CEO Mitch Davis over the past few months, and he's a passionate and accomplished entrepreneur who strongly believes that the virtual goods market is going to be a massive one which will benefit global leaders like the combined Live Gamer/Two Fish.
I'll be joining the Live Gamer Board of Directors as part of the acquisition, and we plan on accelerating even faster as we see the entire media and entertainment sector start to move a portion of their business models to a micro-transaction one. Contact me if we can help your business make the move to this emerging revenue model.
Nice!!!!!!
Way to go Sean
